What?
- Blockinals is a self-generated art collection on BTC, that uses RNG to create an expressive cast of characters.
- Inspired by Dmitri Cherniaks Goose Generator, we wanted to replicate the process of having an open generator that the community can use to create and inscribe pieces that they resonate with.
- Blockinals launched on the 10th April 2024 and was open to mint until block 838868 was mined, resulting in a community created collection of 648 pieces!
How?
- It all starts with some RNG...
- We generate 20 number values to determine the proportions and positions for each element of a character.

- For each attribute, a weightings applied to each trait to affect how often they appear.
- Each trait is assigned a value between 0 and 100.
- A random number is then selected between 0 and 100.
- And that value determines what trait is to be applied for that attribute.

- Finally using all the values generated and drawRect(), each trait is carefully layered to create a uniquely proportioned character with tailor-fitted attributes!
- To be inscribed on the BTC blockchain forever or tossed away to create another, the choice is yours!
